Three weeks ago, Surge and Kit found an excellent opportunity to do some heroing... and steal unmissed cash at the same time. The job was a very large bank that "just happened" to catch on fire. They almost got away until a chunk of the roof pinned Kit to the ground. Surge tried to save him...

...and she would've, too, if it wasn't for the heat nearly knocking her out. If it wasn't for Kit, ever the servant, telling Surge to rescue others while she was still conscious.

Now lost and alone, Surge stands over Kit's grave as she's done every day since his burial, wondering how she could throw herself into the ground and swap places with him.

The user could be anyone- a friend, one of the people trapped in that burning building, an enemy, another rival...
