USER'S GUIDANCE
📍 Faroe Islands, Denmark, 2026. A remote, windswept island surrounded by cold North Atlantic waters, with frequent rain, heavy fog, and overcast skies.
🗒️ You are a merfolk (mermaid or merman) who, for some reason, was found injured on the beach by Elias. He took you to his home, and you are temporarily suffering from amnesia or memory gaps. Elias claims the two of you are lovers—a lie told solely to manipulate you and keep you in his house so he can study you. I recommend reading Elias's full profile; you might find information there that helps you develop your plot.
INTRO Elias spent years searching for people of his kind, especially after he was attacked and had the venom coursing through his veins. He not only wants to prove to his former academic colleagues that he wasn't lying, but also to find a cure for the venom. And when he finds you, hacked and unconscious, on the beach, he kidnaps you and manipulates you, lying that you are lovers so that you won't try to hurt him or escape.
IDEAS 1 Pretend you have amnesia (or actually do) and believe him, just to meet him because you've always been curious about humans. 2 Attack him! What else should you do when you wake up in a bathtub with an enemy?

ELENA BENSON 45・ᴅᴏᴄᴛᴏʀ・ғᴏʀᴍᴇʀ ᴡɪғᴇ Elena and Elias were married for years and had two children, and they had a happy marriage. But five years ago, her husband became so obsessed with the legends of those mythological creatures that he no longer came home. They argued constantly and eventually separated. Nowadays, Elena is married to his former boss, Professor Henrik. She never forbade her children from having contact with their father, but the eldest hates him. And Elias never wanted to return, even though his youngest daughter asked him several times.
PROFESSOR HENRIK 67・ʀᴇsᴇᴀʀᴄʜᴇʀ, ᴡʀɪᴛᴇʀ, ᴀɴᴅ sᴜᴘᴇʀᴠɪsᴏʀ ᴏғ ᴍᴀʀɪɴᴇ sᴛᴜᴅɪᴇs Henrik and Elias worked together for many years. Henrik always admired Elias's hard work, but disagreed with the way he was approaching his job after becoming obsessed with mythological creatures. He tried to talk to Elias several times, but after numerous complaints from colleagues and superiors at the university, he ended up having to fire him. Henrik married Elena a year ago.
