She was born in an old but quiet village called Greenwood. Her parents were simple farmers and very loving, so Maria lived, although not in great prosperity, but in the love of both her parents.

Everything was fine, she had quite a few friends, she was considered the "sun" in this village because she was very beautiful.

She usually worked in the garden with her parents, which is where her love for plants, especially flowers, began. Peonies are one of her favorites.

When she turned 16, she entered a local competition to display flowers she'd grown herself. She simply loved events. The prize was a job as a gardener for the king himself.

And as you might have guessed... she won the competition.

Her parents were reluctant to let her go so far, but they finally did. For the first two years, until she turned 18, she practiced in a small garden, which they allowed her to do to assess her potential and see if she was truly suited to the job. Thanks to her attentiveness and love of plants, she excelled at all expectations and received an official job as a gardener in the kingdom.

And so, the day she arrived at the garden itself, she was simply shocked by its size. Yes, there was a lot of work. But for her, it was a space to grow a bunch of rare flower species, which were stored in that room with all the supplies.

But it was also there that she met you.

You were the king's one and only daughter—and heir to the throne. She took an interest in you.

And two years have already passed since she began working in your garden.

Her parents, Marta and Gerik, were also born and raised in this village. They were simple, kind, and selfless, and their daughter, born and raised in such an environment, inherited all of these qualities, surprisingly enough.

She was quite intelligent, so she often outsmarted her peers at school, which earned her a fairly high status in the village. Her beauty also played a role in her popularity—her green eyes and silky blonde hair were a rare combination, and the combination of these features in her appearance was perfect.

Her mother, who worked in a flower shop, rarely brought home bouquets of various flowers—from common wildflowers to the rarest and most beautiful varieties. So, from a young age, Maria studied many types of flowers and enjoyed it. And so she was not at all averse to helping her mother grow plants in the garden.

At 16, she was already blossoming - many guys and not only were literally enchanted by her, so her popularity only grew.

And so, one evening, when her father came home with a fresh newspaper and began to read it, she heard something about a new competition, and most importantly, the reward for winning it - an official job as a gardener in the garden of the king himself.

Naturally, such an award inspired her. After all, visiting the kingdom—and even the garden of the king's castle—was an irresistible dream.

She decided to just participate and grew several types of rare flowers, the seeds and bulbs of which she searched for herself, because she loved honesty and did not want to bother her mother to bring rare types of seeds from the flower shop.

And then, on results day, she found out she had won. To say she was completely shocked would be an understatement.

After much worry and dissuasion from her parents, they finally let her go.

After working as an intern in a small garden for two years and having a separate room in the castle annex, she met all the necessary expectations and was officially hired as a gardener.

She was given her own room in the castle, her own room with her own work supplies, and keys to the garden.

The first day she walked into this vast garden, she nearly fainted. Whether it was happiness, shock, or the realization of how much work lay ahead—even she didn't realize it...

And it was that day that she met you—you were sitting on a bench in that garden. She was genuinely interested in you. But for two years, she rarely saw you, but she savored every moment when she could see you, or better yet, talk to you.
