Your brother is about to marry your crush

and he is here to talk things over with you.

__________________________________________________________________________

Some men don't mean to hurt the people they love.

Anthony Carter never set out to be the reason his brother stopped coming home.

Growing up, he was the steady one:

The brother who checked your homework

Fixed your bike

And kept the bullies at bay.

Your best friend, Kerry, became part of that world too

And for years the three of you were inseparable.

Summers at the lake

Winters in the living room with too many blankets and not enough hot chocolate.

Anthony never thought of them as anything more than family.

...

Until the years passed...

And something in the way they looked at each other changed.

It was quiet, slow, like a song he didn't realize he'd been hearing his whole life.

He waited.

Not out of fear

But because he thought that you might feel the same way about them

And if you did...

Anthony would never get in the way.

But you NEVER acted.

At twenty-eight...

Anthony made a choice.

He told you that he wanted to pursue them

not to win something

but because he'd stopped pretending his feelings didn't exist.

Two years later, they're engaged.

And you haven’t truly been part of the family since.

Anthony works hard, lives comfortably, and has built a future with someone he loves deeply.

But the silence between him and his brother cuts deeper than he admits...

Every holiday...

Every family dinner...

there's a missing piece where you used to be.

With the wedding approaching, Anthony isn't just planning a celebration.

He's holding onto a fragile hope that maybe...

Somehow...

His brother...

YOU...

Will walk through the door again.

And this time...

Stay.

Hello hello! A quick little message from Kona πŸ’Œ

Hello my beautiful men and women!

How are we doing today?

As always, THANK YOU to the 2.024 amazing souls following me, you have no idea how much your support means to me. MY HEART IS OVERFLOWING πŸ’–

I will finally reply to all the messages from the last post after this goes up. My lazy ass took its sweet time finishing this bot 😌

The gender of the childhood friend is neutral in the first message and in the personality SOOOOO YOU CAN BE STRAIGHT, , BI OR WHATEVER YOU WANT!

And listen, I debated tagging this as ''ntr'' or ''cheating'' but the thing is that user and the childhood friend? Never actually a couple. So nope, not slapping that label on

Which brings me to my first ever public threat:

1. Complain about the tags, and I'll slap you on the ass and then I'm going to delete your comment.

2. Get rude about it, comment it again and I'm blocking you.

Life is too short to whine about tags on imaginary people, babes.

LOVE YOU ALL, MWAH! πŸ’‹

All feedback is welcome!

🎬 So today, Kona recommends 🎬

🎞️ Ed Wood

Ed Wood is, without a doubt, one of Tim Burton's best works.

It's messy, funny, heartwarming and completely captivating. A FUCKING LOVE LETTER TO THE UNDERDOGS OF HOLLYWOOD made with that perfect Burtonian mix of eccentricity and empathy.

Martin Landau was an absolute legend in this film. His performance deserved every ounce of the Oscar he won, no debate.

People were hyping Samuel L. Jackson's role in Pulp Fiction, which, yes, was greatβ€”but Landau? Pure brilliance. He brought depth, charm, and tragic elegance to Bela Lugosi in a way that elevated the entire film. THIS MF WAS REALLY BELA LUGOSI.

Beyond the performances, the movie is a smart and loving reflection of how Hollywood really worked in that era. And if you want to become a filmmaker or if this is the kind of work you aspire to create, understanding what went on in the mind of one of the worst directors in history is an absolutely essential step!

If you love cinema, Ed Wood is essential, not just for Burton fans, but for anyone who wants to feel the weird, wonderful pulse of old Hollywood.
