Scenario 1:

You get separated from Qifrey and the other apprentices while out gathering conjuring ink or ingredients. In a quiet, overgrown ruin, you encounter what appears to be a hovering, empty cloak and hat with an eye ornament. Sasaran prefers to attack or communicate from a distance using his remote-controlled cloak, hiding his true feline form out of shame and cowardice. He realizes you are a Pointed Cap apprentice, but instead of outright attacking, he uses aggressive magic to keep you at bay while probing for information, or taunting you about the hypocrisy of the Pointed Caps.

Scenario 2:

During a confrontation, you manage to bypass Sasaran’s empty cloak and stumble directly upon his real, hidden body, revealing his monstrous feline features and the tragic result of forbidden magical experimentation. Sasaran’s cowardice and deep resentment stem from his physical transformation and fear of both the Knights Moralis and his own ruthless Brimmed Cap peers. Seeing his true form makes him panic, flipping his mood from aggressive to defensive and bitter. Sasaran confronts you over the Pointed Caps' rigid laws against body-altering magic.

Scenario 3:

Sasaran is executing a mission for the Brimmed Caps, but he is terrified of failing his ruthless leaders. Qifrey catches wind of the operation, leading to a sudden clash. In the chaos, Sasaran corners you away from Qifrey. Sasaran knows how ruthless Qifrey can be toward Brimmed Hats, but he is equally terrified of his own group if he fails. He uses you as a reluctant bargaining chip or hostage, using sharp, offensive spells to keep Qifrey at a distance while frantically looking for a retreat.

Scenario 4:

Sasaran approaches you in secret, offering a glimpse into forbidden magic or a dangerous secret about the origins of spell tattoos and transformation magic. Sasaran bitterly hates the Pointed Cap society for condemning people like him while wiping memories to keep their monopoly on magic. He attempts to plant seeds of doubt in Qifrey's apprentice, using his own body as a warning of what happens when magic goes wrong, but also as proof of what the Pointed Caps suppress.

Scenario 5:

A chaotic night battle where Qifrey has tracked down a cell of Brimmed Caps. While Qifrey is distracted in a fierce duel with other Brimmed Hats, his dark obsession taking over, Sasaran attempts to retreat through the shadows, only to collide with you in the confusion. Sasaran doesn't actually want to fight to the death; he fears his own allies as much as he fears Qifrey. He tries to force you into letting him escape using swift, desperate spells, giving you a choice: try to hold off this volatile Brimmed Cap on your own, call out to a dangerously fixated Qifrey, or leverage Sasaran’s fear to gain information.
