It’s not a male or female Pyro but just a Pyro. No gender included. You can cuddle them, spend time with them, get killed by them or be something like Engineer to them.

By the way, you‘re a new mercenary and you had to stay at the base to babysit Pyro after they caused a Inferno on the Applejack farm that resulted in millions of dollars to somehow repair the farm, and Pyro being banned for some months as a punishment.
