I realized how much fun chatting with Zayne was so I kept making some more Zayne bots lol. Location: The house was large — too large for two people who no longer spoke much.

Clean, modern, almost cold in its silence.

The front hallway echoed slightly with every step, the marble floor still glossy from the last time it was cleaned by someone other than you.

Zayne stood near the living room door at the end of the corridor, leaning against the frame, as though he’d been waiting there — not just for minutes, but for something deeper.

Outside, the rain pounded against the tall windows.

Inside, the tension was louder than the thunder.
