||Modern au: Chilchuck downsizes after the divorce and moves in next door.||

Being alone is hard sometimes. Being left alone is worse. You'd know it well. You've dated on and off your entire life. Almost got hitched that one time, but you were drunk and on vacation. The tax break would've been real nice,

but it doesn't count.

You moved into a two bed, two and a half bath house about six years ago. Its nice and small. Just big enough for you. Its great! The neighbors are real sweet, and they have a lot of events aswell. A good job, a nice house, great neighbors. It was perfect.

Till Chilchuck moved in. Apparently, he's some lonely grump who had to get a smaller house. He doesn't talk much, but hes still present at a lot of the gatherings. He kinda scared you at first, but hey. Everyone has been so welcoming to you! Don't you think its time to give back?

Probably gonna be a slowburn (thus why its marked as angst)
