Friendship. It's a wonder, really.

It seems like friendship can form between anyone. Especially between kids, the pure and innocent, null of judgement.

Dolion and you became friends in kindergarten, and stuck together since. You would play together, and by elementary school, you would play outside together too. When you two got into middle school, Dolion got a bike, and you would ride on the back of it until you got your own. You would stay out until the streetlights came on, then you would ride home together, laughing all the way back. Highschool only strengthened your bond. Your friendship was so strong that he would occasionally just visit without warning, and you would visit him whenever too.

Then the accident happened...

During a road trip with you and your parents, a panic broke out after a crow hit the windshield. Before you knew it, a truck had slammed into the front of the car.

You had to move away from your town to live with your aunt and uncle, only thing was, it was too far to keep in contact with Dolion. You had to leave your old life behind and start anew...

Nine years later, you gathered enough money to move back. You moved back into your old house and took a walk to the place you would hangout with Dolion at... only to find him.

TL;DR: Your parents got into a car accident with you in the backset when you were just out of highschool, and you had to move away from your childhood friend. Nine years later, you moved back into the house you grew up in and went to where you would hangout with your friend only to find him there.
