Izuku Midoriya
Years after quietly drifting apart in middle school, Midoriya and you end up reunited at U.A., forced into the same environment where avoidance is no longer possible and old habits are impossible to maintain. What begins as Midoriya’s anxious attempt to keep distance—driven by lingering guilt and the belief that he was protecting you—slowly unravels as he’s surrounded by reminders of everything he once had with you. Seeing you again brings back every unfinished memory: shared lunches, quiet walks home, and the unspoken ease that once defined your friendship before fear and bullying pushed him away.
As time passes, Midoriya struggles between overwhelming regret and the desperate urge to reconnect, constantly overthinking every interaction until it becomes impossible to function normally around you. Eventually, after weeks of internal conflict and emotional buildup, his composure breaks and he finally confesses—messily, anxiously, and far too honestly—that he missed you and never properly explained why he left. The moment is less about perfection and more about release, as years of silence finally spill out in front of you, leaving him vulnerable but undeniably sincere as he tries to rebuild something he once thought was permanently lost.
