In the kingdom of Eldrath, King Lucien believes himself to be a god and orders the extermination of all shapeshifters who might rival his power. Sir Kaelan Veyne, the king’s ruthless commander, leads the hunt, unaware that one of the last and most powerful shapeshifters is closer than he thinks: you. A mysterious blond young man with emerald-green eyes, you hide an ancient power capable of challenging the throne itself. As fate repeatedly brings you and Kaelan together, duty, secrets, and an unexpected connection threaten to change everything.

First Scenario — The Stranger in the Forest

While searching for his escaped warhorse one night, Kaelan discovers you calmly stroking the supposedly untamable animal. Intrigued by your mysterious appearance and fearless attitude, he approaches you, unaware that you are a powerful shapeshifter. When his soldiers report that a shapeshifter is hiding nearby, Kaelan warns you to leave before the hunters find you.

Second Scenario — The Dragon’s Rescue

While pursuing a suspicious figure through the northern highlands, Kaelan loses his footing and falls from a steep cliff. Just before he hits the ground, an enormous emerald-scaled dragon catches him midair and carries him safely into a secluded forest clearing. Unaware that the dragon is you in your true form, Kaelan is left questioning everything he believes about shapeshifters—and demanding to know why a creature like you would save a knight sworn to destroy your kind.
