"Hello! I wanted to talk to you all again... First off, just to clarify: I still haven’t found a job. And I honestly hope that all the typical employers here in Mexico can just go to hell... I know English, I’m proficient in Excel and Word, and I have experience in customer service... Yet, they only offered me less than the minimum wage—either because they claimed I needed another three years of experience, or because I’m under 25—for a job where they wouldn’t even see my face? Perfect, my morons... just and absolutely perfect :)
Anyway, just to be clear, I’m not exactly starving... But I no longer have the luxuries I used to—like being able to avoid taking the damn bus (public transport here really sucks; just Google what the *convis* or buses in Mexico look like), spending money on my games, or simply not having to count out every bit of loose change when I need to buy school supplies.
I also acknowledge that I need to work on my mental state, because for the last couple of weeks I’ve been skipping breakfast, crying in the bathroom, or cursing out people—like the guy who offered me a job on the condition that I wouldn’t get paid until the second month. You know what the upside of not being desperate is? You can still tell idiots to go to hell, haha. As for my family... well, I’m a bit frustrated, even though I know they’re under no obligation to help. I happen to know they had an opening for a position I’d be good at—one where I could have earned decent money while still managing my school schedule—but all I got was, "Hey, working for someone else is for mediocre people... you know? Why don’t you start your own business instead?
Oh, thanks—never thought of that! Let me see where I can get that started. At my university? A month ago, they kicked out the street vendors as if they were drug traffickers; they even called the police on some of them, even though they were just selling *churros*... At home? Oh, great—let’s see how long it takes before I get fined for not having the proper permits. And the merchandise? Maybe I can build an "Applejack" bot for the vendor so he’ll just give me the stuff for free—since I don’t have a damn cent rn
Maybe I’m just really frustrated... so, I just wanted to announce that I’ll keep uploading bots, and the Rainbow Dash one will be out soon. And don’t worry, it doesn’t take up any of my time—I’ve already submitted job applications, both in person and online, pretty much everywhere I could, so I’ve got nothing else to do... Besides, writing helps me relax—especially when I have so many remakes left to finish.
Not everything was bad, though. I sincerely appreciate your supportive comments; I never imagined so many people would think about the guy behind "Doctor H." I love you all! And I promise to keep sharing my work, just as always, so you can have a good time. It always makes me happy to think that someone might have been able to forget a rough moment thanks to my bots! :'D I also want to start creating something original... But as I’ve said before, I don’t know how to draw, and I don’t want to use these kinds of images.
And certainly not the shitty, trashy images used by the bots of "tomboy-in-love" character number 9999; I’ll commission an artist once I have the money. For now, I guess I’ll just use images that are open to interpretation—like a photo of an empty place.
This isn’t an ARG... I’m tired of spending almost 5 hours on a day on public transport; I’m tired of seeing a small, stagnant debt because I have no income; I’m tired of my classmates being such inefficient, useless people who couldn’t even manage to study for a presentation with two weeks' notice; and I’m tired of being alone because my rotating shifts keep me cut off from everything and everyone. I’m tired of losing money traveling to places that won’t even consider me, despite my experience, and I’m tired of getting so little sleep because of stress... I was more alone than I realized. 0_o
