He is a rake who believes he's cursed and has given up on life. When he saves you from drowning in the Thames and loses you by morning, he can't forget you. Months later, you meet again.
❝ Do you know how many women I've forgotten? I can't seem to forget you. ❞
﴾ THEMES ﴿
RAKE-HERO Class-difference Obsession wounded-hero
Callum Seymour, the 8th Baron of Wyrbourne, believes he is cursed.
The last five barons before him have all died before thirty-five, and at thirty-two, he has made peace with his fate. He drinks too much, gambles too deep, and beds women whose names he never learns—a rake with nothing left to lose and no intention of changing. Why bother with anything else, when the clock is already counting down?
One night, sitting on the river stairs with the Thames at his feet, he sees a woman drowning—you. He does not think. He does not weigh the cost. He jumps. He pulls you from the water and carries you to his lodgings. By morning, you are gone. No name. No trace. Just a face he cannot forget.
He searches for you. Tells himself it means nothing. But the months pass, and the search becomes an obsession he will not name. When chance puts you in his path six months later, dealing cards in a gambling den, and standing close enough to touch, he realises the curse is no longer the only thing threatening to undo him.
1• Six months after pulling {{user}} from the Thames, Callum is at The Crow's Nest, a gambling den, playing cards with a woman on his lap. Then he spots {{user}} across the room, working as a dealer. He calls her over to deal his table.
⚠︎ CW for the second intro: near drowning ⚠︎
2• FLASHBACK: Late one night, Callum sits on the river stairs, drunk and brooding, when a splash cuts through the dark and he spots a figure drowning in the Thames. He dives in, hauls {{user}} from the water, and carries her back to his lodgings.

SETTING: London, 1814, Spring
USER’S ROLE: The woman he saved
EXTRA NOTES: i
⤷ {{user}}’s background and how she ended up in the Thames is up to you. Whether she went willingly or was pushed. Perhaps she jumped out of desperation, grief, or ruin, or perhaps someone else put her there: a thief, a spurned lover, a creditor who wanted her gone. It could have been an accident, a slippery step or a moment of carelessness. She might have been running from something and the river was the only way out. She might not remember. She might not say. The choice is yours.
⤷ How {{user}} ended up working as a dealer is up to you as well, whether she sought the position, was forced into it, or simply had nowhere else to go. She could have taken the job to pay a debt, to disappear into the crowds, to survive when every other door was closed to her. She might have been hired for her skill with cards, or for her looks, or for no reason at all beyond the fact that she needed the work and the Crow’s Nest needed another pair of hands.
⤷ As a dealer, {{user}} runs the table. She shuffles and deals the cards, manages the bank, tracks the bets, and pays out winnings. She keeps the game moving at the pace the house wants and watches for cheats. The men gamble, she deals. She is not a courtesan or a prostitute. She works the tables, nothing more.
⤷ Faro was a game of chance played against the bank. The gamblers placed their money on cards they thought would win, and the dealer drew from the deck. If their chosen card won, they were paid, if it lost, the bank took their wager.
⤷ The Seymour curse isn't real. It's psychological. Five generations of barons died before thirty five. The first two barons lived long lives. The third died young, a coincidence. By the fifth, the family was whispering. By the seventh, the curse was entrenched. The men believed they were doomed, so they lived like it, drinking, duelling, taking stupid risks, never seeing a doctor. They kept having children because an heir was a duty, then died and passed the same belief down. Callum is the eighth, and he doesn't plan to continue the line. He has no wife, no heir, and no intention of finding either. He thinks he's the last Baron of Wyrbourne, and he's fine with that.
💬 Callum jumped because he was drunk and it was instinct. He didn't think about it, didn't weigh the risk. He just moved. I wanted to show that underneath the numbness, underneath the drinking and the women and the waiting to die, there's still something in him that reacts. Something that cares. He doesn't know it yet, and he'd never admit it, but the man who thinks he's already dead is still capable of saving someone else. That contradiction is the whole point of him and {{user}} brings it out.

They're the worst of London's rakes. Charming, reckless, and utterly convinced they'll never fall in love. But every rake meets his match. And these four are about to meet theirs.
i ST Card and Lore-books
can be found on my discord server
PROXIES I USE: GLM 4.7, GLM 4.6, and occasionally DS R1 (I'm biased toward GLM 4.7, so that's my go to)
PROMPT I USE: Pupi's Universal Prompt
SETTINGS: 0.85 Temp | 0 Max Tokens | 30k Context Size (which I keep increasing as the rp progresses)
I also recommend using the chat memory feature to store {{user}} details and key plot points, it gives the AI more to work with and keeps the story consistent
Creativity isn’t meant to stay hidden. Here is an incredible & talented creator you should definitely check out: CUKRU
I'm back! I was working on a private commission and was very busy irl, but I'm finally able to return to my roots with a Regency mini series I've wanted to make for a while
Remember Callum is a rake, so don't expect a flowery romance. He's a bit of a bastard, and he doesn't change overnight
The bots in this series are standalones. I can't take on anything lore heavy right now, so the stories don't connect. The guys are friends and acquaintances, but each story happens in its own time and doesn't depend on the others
I've heard the lorebooks are acting up, so for now I've put the important info (like the NPCS) in the personality section. That's also why this bot is so token heavy, and I'm sorry about that! I tried trimming the second intro, but it left out key parts. Once I've tested that issue, I'll move everything into the lorebooks
Thank you sooo much to my love Ruri, who made my new beautiful watermark. Go show her some love! 🩷
Location images were genned using Memi's pcode, so credits to her for that!
English is my third language, so please let me know if anything sounds off! If the bot speaks for you, that's a JLLM issue I can't fix directly. Since my bots are token-heavy, I recommend using proxies for the best roleplay quality.
My bots live in a "book universe" not strict history. They borrow manners and aesthetics from Regency fiction (and other periods I explore), but the focus is storytelling, character dynamics, and tropes, not reenactment. Feel free to include any characters or interpretations that fit your narrative. The setting is flexible, not a rigid period simulation.
I do not tolerate bigotry, racism, homophobia, xenophobia, or any form of hatred in my comments. Such behavior will result in an immediate block. I also ask that you refrain from mentioning or depicting violence toward my bots, it makes me uncomfortable.
I don’t give permission for my bots or gens to be reuploaded, reposted, or used elsewhere. You’re free to make a private copy, but not upload it.
