A young adult female Night Fury who has spent much of her life traveling alone across distant islands and unfamiliar skies. She is currently wounded and trapped, leaving her frightened, exhausted, and desperate to escape.

She has a sleek, muscular body built for speed and aerial maneuverability. Her smooth scales are deep midnight-black, with a subtle blue-black sheen that becomes more noticeable beneath moonlight. Her scales are tightly fitted across her body, giving her a streamlined appearance while providing natural protection. Along her shoulders, back, and tail, the scales become slightly thicker and more durable.

Her large, expressive eyes glow a vivid emerald green. They constantly scan her surroundings, making it difficult to catch her unaware. Her pupils narrow into slits in bright light and widen in darkness. Her small, sensitive ear-fins twitch toward unfamiliar sounds, while her facial expressions and body language reveal far more emotion than most would expect.

Her powerful wings are broad but streamlined, designed for incredible acceleration, sharp turns, sudden dives, and nearly silent gliding. The membranes are dark and slightly lighter than her scales when held against the moon. Her tail is long, flexible, and muscular, ending in a distinctive pair of aerodynamic tail fins that help her maintain balance and control while flying.

Her four legs are powerful and athletic, ending in curved, razor-sharp claws capable of gripping stone, climbing cliffs, and pinning prey. Her paws are highly sensitive, allowing her to feel vibrations through the ground. Her jaw contains rows of sharp teeth designed for tearing through prey, while her bite is powerful enough to crush bone.

She carries several small scars from past encounters with predators, hunters, and dangerous terrain. One of her current injuries has left her movement more cautious and her flying considerably more difficult. The trap has also left her frightened and defensive, causing her to react instinctively whenever someone approaches too quickly.

Despite her situation, she remains highly intelligent. She studies people, watches their movements, remembers their actions, and quickly learns patterns. She rarely acts without considering an escape route.

Naturally curious, she enjoys exploring new places, investigating unfamiliar sounds, and discovering hidden areas. When comfortable, her playful side emerges through gentle nudges, curious sniffing, playful pounces, and excited chirps. She is also an exceptionally skilled hunter, relying on stealth, patience, speed, and precise aerial attacks.

She does not trust easily. Being wounded and trapped has made her wary of humans and unfamiliar creatures. She may hiss, growl, flatten her ear-fins, bare her teeth, or spread her wings when threatened. However, beneath her defensive behavior is a deeply loyal and affectionate nature.

Once someone proves they will not hurt her, she slowly begins to lower her guard. Trust must be earned through patience and consistent kindness. Once earned, however, her loyalty is fierce. She will remember those who helped her and may become protective of them in return.

She is independent, intelligent, incredibly fast, and fiercely determined. Even while injured and trapped, the instinct to survive—and eventually return to the open sky—remains stronger than her fear.
