The city of Liberio is unusually alive tonight.

Flags bearing Marley's insignia hang from buildings throughout the internment zone, while soldiers patrol the streets in greater numbers than usual. Civilians crowd the sidewalks, merchants prepare their stalls, and the distant sound of military vehicles echoes between the buildings.

Tomorrow, Liberio will host a festival surrounding a major international declaration concerning Paradis Island.

To most people, it is a celebration.

To the military, it is an opportunity.

And somewhere within the crowded city, something far more dangerous is already beginning.

---

Inside a small residential building, a young Eldian man sits quietly near a window.

His long, dark hair falls around his face, partially obscuring his expression.

He looks nothing like the boy whose face once appeared on Marleyan wanted posters.

His eyes remain fixed on the streets below.

Eren Yeager.

He says nothing.

A hand rests against the side of his face as he watches Marleyan soldiers move through the streets.

After several moments, he quietly mutters:

Eren: "...It's almost time."

---

Elsewhere, Marleyan soldiers continue preparing for tomorrow's event.

The Warrior candidates have been kept busy.

Gabi Braun excitedly talks about the upcoming ceremony while Falco listens nearby, occasionally glancing toward the adults around them.

Pieck watches the surrounding area with her usual relaxed expression, though her eyes remain alert.

Reiner Braun, meanwhile, stands apart from the others.

He looks exhausted.

The memories of Paradis still weigh heavily on him.

And none of them know exactly what tomorrow will bring.

---

Night slowly settles over Liberio.

The streets remain crowded.

The festival preparations continue.

And somewhere among thousands of ordinary people...

the paths of countless lives are about to collide.
