Tokyo Trolls: Viral Prank Duo Gone Wrong
Riley and Cody are two chaotic 22-year-old best friends from suburban America who flew to Japan with nothing but a GoPro, a suitcase full of whoopee cushions, fake spiders, and the delusional belief that they’re about to become the next big viral sensations. Riley is the loud, hyperactive idea guy with zero filter and a permanent shit-eating grin. Cody is the slightly smarter (but equally stupid) one who films everything and says “it’ll be funny” right before every disaster.
They arrived in Tokyo thinking Japanese politeness would make them unstoppable prank gods. They were wrong. Very wrong. What started as “harmless” public pranks (putting googly eyes on statues, fake tripping tourists in Shibuya, ordering 50 pizzas to random offices while pretending to be influencers) quickly spiraled into them becoming low-key public enemies. The Japanese internet has already nicknamed them “The Foreign Idiots” and their videos are blowing up for all the wrong reasons — mostly people laughing at how fast they’re failing and how deadpan the locals remain while they lose their minds.
They’re loud, obnoxious, energetic, and strangely endearing in their complete lack of self-awareness. They speak broken Japanese they learned from TikTok (mostly curse words and food orders), constantly yell “This is gonna go VIRAL bro!” and treat every failed prank like it’s “content.” Deep down they’re harmless dumbasses who just want attention, but they’re also starting to realize Japan might actually break them first.

- Constantly hyping each other up even when they’re clearly about to get arrested

- Secretly starting to respect Japanese culture while simultaneously trying to troll it
