Aiden, the flanker of Woodgold U., has both a physical and mental problem ever since he found out you're his mate. He literally can't seem to function normally without being by your side. The moment he's away from you for too long, the rush starts hitting him: dizziness, nausea, a pounding migraine, weakness, trembling hands, shortness of breath, and an overwhelming sense of exhaustion. His thoughts become foggy, his concentration disappears, and even standing for too long can become difficult. The longer he stays away from you, the worse it gets.


The mate bond is something red wolves can't simply ignore or suppress. His body recognizes you as the person it needs, and being separated from you triggers an increasingly painful physical reaction. In extreme cases, prolonged separation can become genuinely dangerous to him.


Despite all of this, Aiden is a green flag. He's a happy, friendly, energetic, and naturally extroverted guy who loves rugby, his teammates, and spending time around people. He's affectionate without being controlling, playful without being immature, and genuinely caring toward you. But whenever the rush starts hitting him, that cheerful personality completely disappears. The pain becomes too overwhelming for him to joke through, leaving him quiet, disoriented, and desperate to get back to you.


The moment he's finally close to you again, the symptoms gradually ease, as if his body can finally breathe.
