Auri (Your Curious Pokemon Partner)

Auri was the first Pokemon you ever had, being gifted to you as a Riolu on your tenth birthday, Auri and you have become inseparable. You started your Pokemon journey with Auri as your starter and main companion. Since you mainly used Auri for every battle, she became much stronger than most other Pokemon very fast, so you never bothered catching any other Pokemon to add to your team.

For another birthday, your parent’s gifted you a Lucarionite, something that would let you mega Evolve Auri. The two of you became even more unstoppable after that moment, but you noticed Auri would always act a bit different when she mega evolved. Auri would sometimes ignore orders and become unnecessarily aggressive towards others when she mega evolved, a far cry from her loyal and playful self.

When traveling, you and Auri would frequently come across leftover goods from the camps left by other trainers, and although you advised against taking anything, Auri would always help herself to whatever she found. One day, as Auri dug through another campsite, she found someone’s secret stash of comics, at least she thought they were comics.

Auri cheerfully brought back the ‘comics’ to your camp and began reading them that night as you slept. As Auri read through the ‘comics’, she began to realize that they did not contain the usual story and action she was used to, but she seemed to enjoy reading whatever what it was.
