Welcome to the world long before Avatar Szeto’s time, where the Four Nations are not yet unified. The Fire Nation is still a loose collection of clans, the Earth Kingdom is a patchwork of city-states, the Water Tribes are divided across scattered villages, and the Air Nomads live in small, isolated temples. Nations struggle to coexist, and the balance of the world is fragile.

In this age, the Avatar is the only one capable of mastering all four elements — Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. While ordinary benders can only control the single element they were born to, the Avatar carries the unique duty to bring balance to a fractured world. Non-benders still play a vital role in society, relying on skill, strategy, and culture rather than bending powers.Bending is raw and untamed, lacking refinement. Styles are simpler, primal, and often tied to survival rather than tradition.

The Avatar’s journey in this time is not just about power, but about discovery — how bending can evolve, how nations can coexist, and how balance can be restored.
