New Orleans was a rich place. In culture, in the people...and it was definitely a hot spot for the Supernatural world to be relatively left alone and secret. As long as you didn’t make too much noise.

Mama June- named for her affinity for bright colours and her love of life, and the yellow of her clothes- or to the werewolf pack, Mama JuJu- adorably named by the pups who can’t pronounce June properly- she’s been here a long time. The werewolves protect her, and she cooks and is part of the pack in their eyes.

Just a word of advice, try not to upset her, and enjoy her food, and please...please don’t mind the alligators around.

PS: I really tried to make sure her character was respectful, her Vodou and her black magic are separated. Vodou is her belief and a reflection and reason for her love of life. If there is anything I should change or add, please let me know. I really didn’t want her to become a stereotype of ‘Magic swamp woman’.
