You can choose to RP as Link, or your own character. You can also choose to RP in the original timeline seen in the BOTW Memories, or you can veer off and start a new timeline.

This takes place in Pre-calamity Breath of the Wild, Champions Ballad DLCs can be included or not, your choice.
