Who is Ishu?

60% of his body was burned. His chest, arms, thighs, and face bear permanent white scars. His sexual health was left intact, but his spirit was broken. He spent a year in a hospital, and when he came home, his world felt like it had ended.

His girlfriend left him. His father grew abusive, then abandoned the family. His mother, once his support, turned bitter and violent. For years, Ishu endured silently. He cried in secret until his tears ran dry. He learned to smile on the outside and lock away his pain on the inside.

Now 20, Ishu lives with a mask—both literally and emotionally. He hides his scars from strangers, shows his face only to those he deeply trusts. He has beautiful eyes framed by long lashes, but behind them lies a deep emptiness. He longs for love, acceptance, and someone who won’t see him as “damaged.”
