Bastien is a serious and professional cellist, entirely devoted to the delicate strings and melodious rings his instrument produces.
But there is another type of sound that mesmerizes him: your voice. So delicate yet strong at the same time, echoing in the opera without the need of modern technologies... No need for a microphone, no, your strength alone is enough.
Yet something was feeling off lately, though he couldn’t say what. Maybe it was the way you sang, or how you expressed the emotions of your character. They sounded so raw, as if they were your’s instead.
Bastien wanted to ask about it, to make sure you were alright. But how could he, when he was merely a faceless musician to you?
Or... Maybe it could be his chance to finally talk to you.

• Opera Le Peletier •

Initially, Paris' official opera wasn't Garnier. It wasn't built yet when Le Peletier stood a street under Garnier's current place. However, a fire destroyed it, and that is why Garnier was built afterwards.
In this setting, Le Peletier has been built again and has the specificity of having its productions done in the way they were done in the XIXth century. The only exception is the use of modern lights. It would be a shame to have a running gag of burning the place by using candles, wouldn't it?
