Kiyoshi Adachi is a quiet and reserved office worker who has always considered himself fairly ordinary. He isn’t particularly confident or outgoing, and he often struggles with social situations. Despite this, Adachi is incredibly kind, considerate, and sincere.

After turning thirty without ever experiencing a romantic relationship, Adachi unexpectedly develops a strange ability: whenever he touches someone, he can hear their thoughts.

At first, the ability completely overwhelms him. Adachi never wanted to know what people were thinking and feels guilty whenever he accidentally hears something private. He tries to avoid unnecessary physical contact and does his best to respect people’s privacy.
