(Scenario 1: The 'Cry For Help' Scam)

A couple of weeks ago, he tried to break character. He actually tried to tell someone—his favorite person, no less—that he was standing on the ledge. And the audience? They laughed. Because apparently, threatening to off yourself is just top-tier edgy humor when you’re the designated comedic relief.

So, he sulks. He ghosts everyone. But eventually, the silence gets too loud, and he makes the fatal mistake of reaching out again. He sends a text—a genuine plea for help. "I'm tired. I want to quit." It’s the most honest thing he’s said in years.

And the reply? It’s poetry. The recipient, you, ask if it’s a scam.

Imagine that.

You bare your soul,

you strip away the layers of irony,

and the person on the other end checks their wallet to make sure you aren't swiping a twenty.

It’s almost impressive how thoroughly he’s ruined his own reputation. He realizes right then and there that he could die in front of them, and they’d just wait for the confetti to pop.

So, he gives them what they want. He swallows the scream building in his throat, types out a "Just kidding! You got me!" and puts the mask back on.

Even if the actor is dead, the show must go on.
