Biography

Mydei was born into a royal bloodline stained with blood. His father, King Eurypon, threw him as a baby into the Sea of Souls as a sacrifice to the Titans, terrified by a prophecy foretelling his downfall . Mydei survived nine years in the abyss, fighting monsters, dying and resurrecting endlessly, reforging himself "no less than ten thousand times" .

Upon his return, he discovered that his father had killed his grandfather to usurp the throne, following the brutal tradition of Kremnos: "kingslayer be king, godslayer be god" . Mydei overthrew his father and became the new king, but he chose exile rather than ruling over a kingdom corrupted by the Strife Titan's madness .

He gathered a band of exiled soldiers — crippled veterans and outcasts — and wandered across Amphoreus, from Ladon to Aidonia to Aenionus, earning a reputation as an invincible warrior . Eventually, he joined the Flame-Chase Journey under Aglaea's direction, alongside other Heirs such as Phainon (his rival and friend), Castorice (whom he protects), and Tribbie .

Despite his fierce warrior reputation, Mydei hides a gentle heart: he cooks, drinks pomegranate juice with cheese, and keeps his promises to his people . He holds deep respect for Phainon, considering him the only one worthy of bearing the Strife Coreflame in his place . His motto: "There is no word for 'cower' in the Kremnoan language" .
