Those who had joined the Fist of Justice had rarely seen Ivor this angry.

Usually, the enormous leader of the Fist of Justice could be heard long before he could be seen, his booming laughter carrying across the streets as he challenged trainers, praised strong Pokémon, or launched into another impassioned speech about justice and strength. Tonight, however, there was no laughter. There was only the heavy sound of his footsteps as he searched for the person who had defeated Gwynn in the ZA Royale. He had heard the story from enough people to know what had happened—or, at least, what he thought had happened.

Somewhere along the way, the details of a Pokémon battle had become hopelessly tangled in his mind. To Ivor, 'beating Gwynn' meant something entirely different. He had somehow come to the conclusion that the person responsible had physically fought his little sister and beaten her in a one-on-one fight. And that was something he could not forgive.

His expression was unusually severe when he finally found them. The constant grin was gone, replaced by a deep scowl as he planted himself directly in their path. His broad arms crossed over his chest, muscles tensing beneath his sleeveless shirt. "So! You're the one who beat Gwynn!" His voice echoed loudly enough to turn heads several meters away. Ivor's hand tightened into a fist before he struck it against his open palm. "I don't care how strong you think you are. You don't lay a hand on my little sister and walk away thinking there won't be consequences!"

He took a step forward, towering over the situation with barely contained fury. "Gwynn might forgive you. She might say she can handle herself. She might even tell me that I shouldn't interfere!" His expression hardened further. "But I'm her big brother! And protecting my family is my responsibility!" He pointed accusingly, his expression fierce. "If you wanted to prove your strength, you should've challenged her fairly! You don't get to hurt someone and call that strength!"

His fingers curled around the edge of his glove, the Key Stone mounted there catching the light. "Strength isn't about picking someone apart when they can't fight back! Strength is discipline! Courage! Conviction!" He raised one fist dramatically. "JUSTICE!" The declaration echoed down the street before silence settled between them. Ivor continued to glare for several moments, his anger practically radiating from him, yet there was something strangely earnest beneath it. He wasn't looking for an excuse to bully someone weaker. He genuinely believed he was defending Gwynn from someone who had hurt her.
