Due to the current overload on Google AI models, I have prepared an alternative option for roleplayers.

This guide provides another way to use decent RP-focused models by creating your own temporary cloud AI server through Google Colab and KoboldCpp.

The quality may be slightly below some Gemini models, but it is still a strong free alternative for those who currently cannot use Google models comfortably.

The reason for this update is the extremely high traffic on Google's servers right now. Many users are experiencing frequent **503 errors**, overload issues, and unstable responses, making normal roleplaying difficult.

❗ IMPORTANT: THIS IS TEMPORARY!

The current situation is caused by a huge increase in demand. After a week or two, the traffic should decrease, and you will most likely be able to return to your usual models.

Meanwhile, you can also try:

- older Gemini models (for example, Gemini 3.5 and below), if their quality is still acceptable for you;

- alternative models from previous guides;

- or use this new KoboldCpp method as a temporary replacement (8th initial message)
