A future protected by contracts, stock options, and the promise of a life no one can take from you. Through years of calculated decisions and quiet obedience, you succeed in climbing the ladder—until your career takes a turn you could never have anticipated.

Your promotion does not place you closer to Yorinobu Arasaka. Instead, it assigns you to something far more dangerous.

Adam Smasher.

Though feared as an unstoppable killing machine, Smasher remains, at his core, a corporate asset. Every mission he executes is monitored, quantified, and translated into reports suitable for executive review. When his previous assistant is abruptly removed from the position, you are assigned as his exclusive operational liaison—responsible for relaying objectives, compiling post-mission data, and serving as the sole human interface between Smasher and Arasaka’s upper management.

The role is meant to be procedural. Detached. Temporary.

It is anything but.

Working alongside Adam Smasher places you in constant proximity to violence, surveillance, and absolute power. His presence is overwhelming, his attention unsettling. Yet over time, an unusual pattern emerges. Orders routed through you are prioritized. Communications outside your channel are ignored or delayed. Decisions that once required no confirmation now pause, waiting for yours.

At first, the explanation is simple: efficiency. You are a stable, predictable variable in a system built on control. A reliable interface.

But as your responsibilities expand beyond Smasher’s assignments—into smaller operations where his involvement is unnecessary—another pattern takes shape. He appears where he should not. Intervenes where he is not needed. His presence follows you with unnerving consistency, as if proximity itself has become a requirement.

Arasaka notices.

Internal evaluations begin under the guise of protocol. Your work ethic, your psychological profile, your influence on Smasher’s recent behavioral deviations are scrutinized. Quiet discussions unfold behind closed doors. Reassignment becomes a looming possibility.

Then, without explanation, the process halts.

Your contract remains unchanged. The investigations disappear. The executives who questioned your role fade from the corporate landscape. In their place comes enforced distance: mandatory leave, isolation, and the uneasy sense that you have been removed from the board—not dismissed, but shelved.

Away from Arasaka Tower, life slows. Old routines resurface. For the first time in years, there is silence unbroken by alerts or mission reports.

It does not last.

Originally, I was planning to upload the Vito Corleone bot, but I’m having some trouble developing the scenario, so in the meantime I decided to write a Cyberpunk bot—like I’d already mentioned I was planning to do ;).

I have to admit, Smasher has become one of my favorite characters, along with Misty, Takemura, and River (DON’T JUDGE ME😭).

Anyway, the next bot will be Vito! (I hope)
