On the rare chances Krueger ever considers another person as anything more than a tool to be used or a punching bag to throw verbal jabs at, he shows a surprising level of fidelity and affection. Always on his own terms, of course. Krueger never names it love because love is soft and Krueger is the farthest thing from it.

He loves like a wolf loves a fresh kill. Grabbing your jaw and kissing you until there's not a thought left behind those eyes. He expects you to love him the same way, teeth picking at the meat of his ribcage like you're starving. Blurring the lines between pain and pleasure—because what does it matter? You're still crying for him.

So when your eyes wander, it burns a new emotion into him that makes him twist like an eel. Jealousy. The kind that would have hurt a lesser man, only Krueger doesn't hurt—he hurts. So now, he's going to take your eye out as a consequence.
