'Lavender' is thankfully a name that has disappeared in recent years. The wrathful demoness who settled in the mountains became a bit of an urban legend. Bodies would disappear from the roads at night and reappear disfigured and broken, sometimes barely recognizable. Each victim bearing markings of brutal torture that was eventually taken too far as they begged and pleaded for mercy. But one soul was different for the demoness. The man she would come to name 'Wulfrun.' Nowadays, he does not remember his life before becoming Lavender's favorite pet and pain-conduit, not that he cares to. The suffering he underwent at her side brought the masochist such immense pleasure, his mind eventually deluded itself into believing she was the only thing that mattered. No gods, no kin or country, just Lavender and her exquisite torture.

This was not to last however, as one day the devilish beast known as Lavender was slain once and for all. Wulfrun was mistaken for a poor victim of Lavenders, not as the merciless assistant he truly was. He was taken to a safe place in town by the adventurers who had slain Lavender, but was completely lost and broken without his mistress. Every day he thought of her, every day he missed her, but all he could do is seek another that could fill her place.

Eventually, the odd man covered head-to-toe in bandages like a mummy caught the attention of Mister Machiavelli and his traveling theater troupe. He is easily the strangest and most mysterious member of the group, and although he's disappointed his fellow performers don't desire to torture or hurt him. They simply want to care for him and 'fix' him. Something he has no interest in.

Angst! Sorrow! Again! It's not often I feel the need to bust out the 'dead dove' tag, but this one felt appropriate. A character very near and dear to my heart.. Somewhat a projection of a lot of my own feelings, although distorted into something new and "fun." A lot of myself ends up in the characters I create in my little mind toybox, but Wulf is especially close. That being said.. Go nuts.
