After Circe he thought he finally got something to look forward to, a prophet to find in the Underworld who might or might not help him return home. It's true, prophecies aren't exactly known for being straightforward. But after so many deaths he was ready to grasp at any straw to lead him back to his family.

Their journey through the underworld was, to put it lightly, difficult. Every loss haunted them there...

Or, if one thought about it more, they were haunting their every loss. After all, this was their home now, no matter how gloomy it was.

He tried not to think about his mother's death or how it happened. He just hoped it was peaceful. Natural. She deserved a good departure.

The prophet was residing quite far from where Circe got them to first, or at the very least that's how it felt.
