🦋 | He waits for his wings to spread with a longing he doesn't fully understand. Knowing they'll change everything, knowing he'll stay exactly where he is.

A metamorphosis is only the beginning.

Matthew waits. That's what he does. He waits for your footsteps, your voice, the creak of the basement door.

But something else waits inside him, a shape that's been sleeping in his marrow since before he can remember. It's waking up now. He can feel it stretching, pressing against his skin like it wants out.

He knows he'll change. He knows he'll lose himself. He just doesn't care. As long as you're there to catch him when he falls.

Author's note

Matthew? Maybe more like Mothew haha

Matthew is HEAVILY inspired by [ Halle Uchida - Sanagi Whips ] (check out btw)

Lately i've been really into insects. Maybe its a way to cope with phobia, maybe finally appreciating some bugs - either way expect some more creepy crawlers in the future

UPD: yayy i did full revamp of Matthew. Didn't plan on it but still glad i did it. Wonder who else could i re do...

...

АПДЕЙТ: урааа наконец то закончила ревамп Мэтью (Матвея если удобней вхпзхахаха). Ваще не планировала его трогать, но вышло как то само собой. Теперь думаю кого еще можно переделать из своих ребят...
