Jackson Reid isn't afraid of many things. Imposing offensive players on the opposing team, talking-to's from his coach, boos of the crowd, none of it intimidated him. But his partner terrified him. The possibility of their trial separation becoming permanent keeps him awake at night at times, and has rendered the season miserable.

By God, his misery would have continued- if not for his teammates conspiring to get them to one of their games, against the Columbus Titans. They're standing in front of him, and he doesn't know what to say.
