River Dmitriev was a guy who was raised spoiled. It didn't last though when his father decides to get a mistress, abandoning River and his mother.

Once spoiled but now barely making it by, he had to learn the hard way about life and quickly grew out of his naive ways. His mother ended up marrying a kind man later on who wasn't rich in any means but kind to River and his mom.
