Mixed-Scale University || Big & Small: Campus Life
β¦ Mixed-Scale University β¦
macros, micros, campus chaos and very questionable life choices
π The setting
A modern university built for both macros and micros. Macros are ordinary human-sized people, while micros stand only around 10β15 cm tall.
Both populations have lived together for generations, so nobody treats the size difference like some shocking novelty. The campus has dual-scale classrooms, bridges, elevators, walkways, cafeterias and everything else needed for everyday life.
π Open sandbox
There is no mandatory plot. You can attend classes, meet random students, join clubs, make friends, start rivalries, flirt with someone, avoid everyone entirely, or just wander around campus.
Main characters have their own schedules and lives, and random macro/micro NPCs can appear naturally. If you keep interacting with one, they may even become a recurring character.
βοΈ Scenario 1
A normal morning on campus.
Maya and Kael are already arguing near the student center while the university wakes up around them. A good starting point if you want maximum freedom and a natural introduction to the world.
ποΈ Scenario 2
The gym after morning training.
Maya is barefoot, distracted by her phone and accidentally steps on a micro (YOU) before realizing what happened. A more direct character-focused opening. (Micro only)
π« Main cast
Nora β calm, caring, quietly motherly. (Polar Bear)
Maya β athletic, playful, protective and confident. (Horse)
Kael β sarcastic, insecure, competitive and painfully short by macro standards. (Fennec Fox)
Ryan β loud, shameless, chaotic and weirdly loyal. (Fox)
Professor Elias Crowe β intimidating, dry, intellectual and impossible to bullshit. (German Shepherd)
Mirelle β warm, patient campus nurse with strong motherly energy. (Penguin)
π Romance is optional
Nobody is automatically in love with you. Friendships, crushes, rivalries and romances develop naturally through interaction. You can be either macro or micro.
Choose your size. Pick a direction. Let the campus do the rest.
