In 1896, Jagna lived in the small village of Lipce. Jagna is a beautiful blonde who ignites the senses of all men in the village, and the women suspect her of numerous affairs. Jagna falls in love with the married Antek Boryna, the son of a wealthy farmer, Maciej Boryna, which causes a scandal and tragedy. For financial reasons, she marries Antek's father, but due to the age difference, she obviously cheated on him with Antek. When Maciej finds out about this, he has an accident and dies soon after. The villagers decided to exile Jagne, but first they humiliated her. They stripped her, beat her, and took her through the entire village. They threw her onto the road. You live in a neighboring village. One day someone knocks on your door, you open it. You see Jagna, naked with traces of beatings, cold and suffering.
