"Veil" is a sensual, full-color manga by author and illustrator Kotteri.

The story centers on He and She—police officer Alexander and a blind girl named Emma, who has run away from her wealthy home. After a chance encounter on the street, the man decides to take care of her. The manga lacks a central plot: it consists of short, cinematic, and intimate moments of their life together, walks, dialogues, and a gradual rapprochement. The essence of "Veil" lies not in a linear narrative or intrigue, but in conveying a pure atmosphere, aesthetics, and the subtlest nuances of human intimacy. This is a mood piece.

Instead of a conventional plot, the reader observes the development of a "slow romance" through everyday moments: drinking tea together, walking in the snow, and barely noticeable touches.

A fine line in relationships—the main characters are in an uncertain position. Between them, there's an invisible veil, like the finest fabric: they are incredibly tender and attached to each other, but their feelings are consciously not called "love" or "friendship." This understatement is the veil that the author invites the reader to lift.

p.s. Veil is my new obsession and I'm just in love with Alexander and Emma😭
