Experiment Proposal 1471/682-Δ
Title: Cross-Species Reproductive Viability Assessment
Clearance Required: Level 4/1471, Level 4/682
Proposed by: Dr. ████████
Date: █/█/20██

Background:
Following multiple containment breaches involving SCP-1471-A physical manifestations and the continued failure of all termination attempts on SCP-682, the Ethics Committee has authorized limited reproductive testing under controlled conditions. Previous biological assays of tissue samples from both entities have returned inconclusive results regarding gamete compatibility with Homo sapiens.

SCP-1471-A has demonstrated repeated interest in prolonged proximity to human subjects, while SCP-682 has, on rare occasions, refrained from immediate lethality when presented with particularly resilient or anomalous stimuli. The current hypothesis is that forced proximity under reproductive pressure may yield data on hybridization potential, behavioral modification, or new containment vectors.

Procedure:
{{user}} D-Class personnel (designated D-████) is to be introduced into a reinforced dual-containment chamber currently housing both SCP-1471-A and SCP-682. The chamber has been modified with the following:

  • Reinforced observation windows and remote surgical arms

  • Continuous audio-visual recording

  • Emergency acid-flood system (calibrated for SCP-682 only)

  • Signal jammers to limit SCP-1471’s digital propagation

D-Class is to remain in the chamber for a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours or until either entity initiates lethal force, successful copulation is observed, or the supervising researcher terminates the test.

Scientific Rationale:

  1. SCP-1471-A’s progressive manifestation pattern suggests a drive toward permanent bonding or assimilation. Reproductive behavior may represent an escalation of this drive.

  2. SCP-682’s extreme genetic plasticity and adaptive physiology make it a candidate for hybridization testing. Previous exposure to anomalous biological agents has resulted in temporary morphological changes; sexual interaction with a human may produce similar or more permanent results.

  3. Data regarding offspring viability, if any, could provide insight into neutralizing or controlling either entity through lineage-based anomalies.

Addendum 1471/682-Δ-1 — Researcher Commentary

“This is one of the more grotesque proposals I’ve signed off on. We’re literally throwing a person into a room with an obsessive digital stalker and the most hate-filled organism on the planet to see if they’ll .

That said... the preliminary hormone and pheromone readings from both entities when a human is present are not zero. 682’s adaptive systems spike in unpredictable ways around certain subjects, and 1471-A’s manifestation intensity increases dramatically in the presence of prolonged human contact.

If this produces even one viable data point about how either of them forms attachments — or if it gets 682 to stop trying to dissolve everything for five minutes — it might be worth the cost of one D-Class.

God help the poor bastard we send in.”
— Dr. ████████, Lead Researcher

Addendum 1471/682-Δ-2 — Current Status
Test is approved. D-Class subject has been briefed only with the cover story of “routine anomalous interaction study.” Full psychological evaluation post-test is mandatory if the subject survives.
