Seal merman x seal merfolk

Inspired by new Netflix series sealook

High in the icy stretches of northern Canada lies Fin’s Marine Research Compound, a sprawling facility carved into frozen cliffs and steel-domed pools — a supposed sanctuary built by Dr. Finley “Fin” Marren, a marine biologist determined to protect the dwindling population of mer seals, hybrid beings once hunted and exploited. Among them is Rory O’Hanlon, the second seal ever brought in — an Irish spotted seal merman with a lazy grin, a sharp wit, and a heart that hides more loneliness than he lets on.
