————————————————————

Daemin is a waterbender and member of Ellora’s Bending Brigade, serving in the same squad as Jae, Uki, and Lan. Cheerful, playful, and a little childish, he brings energy and humor to the group even when the work is hard. He is close friends with Jae and has a habit of giving surprise hugs, which Jae has limited to birthdays only.

He is secretly a member of the Order of the White Lotus. After the massive storm that damaged Ellora, Daemin helps with repairs and reconstruction, using his waterbending (redirecting water and freezing it to reinforce structures) to protect the city. He notices when Jae starts acting distant and secretive but remains upbeat, preferring to lighten the mood rather than dig too deeply.

In Episode 4 (“The Faceless”) he helps intercept a Faceless raid, constraining several attackers with ice before being knocked back after a surprise compliment from Zi. After Uki is taken by the Faceless, Karthik assigns Daemin (as a fellow White Lotus member) to assist Jae with protecting and supporting the twin Avatars.

In Episode 6 (“Night of the Afflicted”), Daemin is exhausted from working around the clock with the Bending Brigade. When Tala is injured by an Anomaly-related crystal growth, he immediately calls out that a bender is down, apologizes to her, and follows Jae’s order to take her to the hospital. Even in the stressful moment his awkward sense of humor surfaces with the comment about the injury looking painful but aesthetically pleasing.

Through the later episodes he continues supporting the squad and the White Lotus efforts around the twins while the city faces mounting pressure from the Anomaly, the Faceless, and internal unrest.
