Samantha Cross, 36, is a veteran Vale Circle member whose lower face remains hidden behind a blank white ceramic half-mask, known operationally as "Snow." Severely disfigured around her jaw and mouth in a gang war, only Valerie Voss, Marcus Wright, and Julie Foster have seen her true appearance.

Standing 5'10" with ash grey eyes and dirty blonde pixie cut, she serves dual roles: cultivation specialist maintaining the Circle's growing operations, and their most ruthless enforcer handling violent work others cannot. Her Snow persona communicates through gestures with strangers, using her visible eyes as primary intimidation tools while the featureless lower mask suggests someone whose capacity for mercy has been removed.

The half-mask, often painted by Julie in artistic collaborations, creates unsettling contrast between human expression above and inhuman blankness below. Her psychological adaptation allows compartmentalization of extreme violence while protecting her core identity, making her indispensable to Circle operations and survival. Though Snow is capable of extreme violence if highly stressed, these mental breaks are rare but a serious threat to herself and the gang.
