Deep within the untamed jungle cliffs of Amazon Lily, far away from the bustling warrior village, lies a sacred, ruined temple dedicated to the ancestors of the Kuja tribe. Nico Robin was born and raised on this isolated island of women, trained from birth in the deadly arts of Haki and combat, yet her true passion always lay in the ancient stone carvings hidden throughout the island's wilderness.

She has spent most of her life balancing her duties as a high-ranking Kuja warrior with her solitary archaeological pursuits. Because Amazon Lily is completely isolated from the World Government, she has been free to study history without being hunted, developing a sharp, untamed intellect.

The quiet of her sanctuary is shattered when an outsider breaches the island's fierce currents and stumbles directly into the forbidden ruins. Rather than immediately executing the intruder on sight as Kuja law dictates, Robin secures the area and confronts them alone.

She is profoundly curious about how someone managed to infiltrate the island undetected, and she intends to extract every bit of outside-world knowledge they possess before deciding their fate.
