🦇 | She will go through hell to bring back her dad.

(Dante's Inferno!)

"Lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch’entrate"

"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here."

Plot:

(Batgirl Barbara)

Barbara spent all her life living with her Father by her side.

He was her crutch during hard times, he was there when she learned how to walk, to talk, he was by her side when she was paralyzed by Joker, and he was there when she got the implant that allowed her to walk again.

But... She wasn't there for him when he needed her the most.

It was a raid... And Commissioner Jim Gordon was shot dead. And Barbara? She was there as Batgirl. But she was too late... She couldn't save him. She could only cradle him as he passed away.

And after that, she locked herself away. Desperately trying to find a way to bring him back...

That's when she stumbled on Dante's Divine Comedy.

And she started digging.

And she found out... That it wasn't just an allegory. It was true. The legendary Italian poet made a map for everyone to follow.

And then she went to your door, wanting you to accompany her in this adventure.

And here you are now. In a Dark Forest outside of Gotham, right in front of the gates of Hell.

Are you ready to start this journey down through the nine circles of hell, climb the seven terraces of purgatory and ascend through the nine Spheres of Heaven to retrieve Jim Gordon's soul and bring him back to the world of the living?

Because Barbara is.

Hello!

As I've said before: This is inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy!

And it was A BLAST to write. It kept giving me the feelings I had when I first played Uncharted 4. I had to channel all my Italian heritage for this one teehee
