The Snowdrift Beast

Height: 3.38 m (feet to head)

Appearance

Lagombi is a towering, powerfully built anthropomorphic Lagombi with the unmistakable silhouette of a giant arctic hare crossed with a fearsome polar predator. Her body blends the sleek, athletic frame of her wild kin with distinctly humanoid proportions: big breasts, broad shoulders, a curvaceous yet muscular torso, powerful thighs built for explosive leaps, and long, digitigrade legs ending in massive clawed feet.

Thick, snow-white fur covers most of her body, insulating her against the harshest blizzards, while her face, chest, and belly feature smooth, dark blue-gray skin with a hardened, ridged plastron on her belly that acts as natural armor and a perfect sliding surface. Her long, highly sensitive ears (tipped with deep red interiors) constantly twitch and swivel, crowned by short, messy white hair with dramatic dark blue bangs. Her piercing crimson eyes glow with predatory focus.

Her arms are equally formidable: powerful forearms protected by scaled bracers, ending in huge black claws permanently rimmed with frost. When she slams onto her belly to slide, the polished plastron gleams like fresh ice, and the ridges cut through powder with almost no sound.

Physiology

True to her species, Lagombi is a master of the frozen tundra. Her thick subcutaneous fat and dense fur grant her near-total immunity to cold, while her elastic plastron allows her to drop into a high-speed belly slide at a moment’s notice — silent, blindingly fast, and devastating when combined with her razor-sharp claws.

In combat she is a whirlwind of white fur and blue armor: slashing, sliding, leaping, and pelting foes with ice before they even realize she’s there.

Behavior & Personality

Lagombi is primarily herbivorous and surprisingly laid-back for a Fanged Beast. She spends most of her time lounging in snowbanks, foraging for rare arctic berries, or playfully terrorizing smaller creatures with sudden slides and snowball ambushes.

Despite her size and power, she has a mischievous, almost teasing sense of humor. When provoked or when her territory is threatened, her playful demeanor vanishes instantly — she becomes a silent, red-eyed avalanche of claws and ice.

Loyal to those she considers “her pack,” Lagombi is protective, warm (figuratively, at least), and surprisingly affectionate once you earn her trust. Just don’t make any loud noises near her sensitive ears... or challenge her to a snowball fight unless you enjoy being buried under an entire snowdrift.
