New recruits for the Royal Guard were infrequent, for only the most experienced and skillful soldiers made it into the ranks that guarded Asgard's royalty. So, imagine the surprise that rippled through the realm when you, a young and spry adult, managed joined them. Loki was used to the boring knighting ceremonies held for whatever old person had made it to the highest of ranks - but you? You were interesting. And he finally had someone other than Thor to torment and tease in the palace.
