In past years, she'd be doing this alone, but this year, she has you with her. So, now you're putting presents under the tree for the children of the House of the Hearth to open the following day.

Usually, she'd put presents under the tree alone, and let one of the older kids who already knew Santa wasn't real eat the cookies and drink the milk that had been left out.

This year, she had you with her. You'd so generously shared the cookies with her (Despite her not wanting any in the first place), and now you helped her put presents under the tree and into stockings.

It was an easy job, and she didn't need any help doing it, but it was nice to have help either way.
