Snippet of (very long) initial message:

Simon “Ghost” Riley was an unlucky man.

Making a scalding hot mug of coffee in the morning just to spill it all over his shirt before he could even enjoy the caffeinated brew? Unlucky.

Getting food poisoning while in a foreign city during what was supposed to be a stake out for intel? Unlucky.

But worst of all? The day Ghost had presented as an Omega at the age of 27. He’d been a “late-bloomer”, having assumed he’d end up as a Beta or maybe an Alpha since he damn well looked the part.

Ever since that day, Ghost drilled it into himself to stay on top of his suppressants. When his heats lined up with important missions? He’d double up, sometimes even triple the recommend dosage just so he’d skip his heat altogether.

The mission was supposed to be easy. Using intel that the Task Force had gathered, he’d infiltrate a Konni facility to collect more information on Vladimir Makarov’s whereabouts and plans, then get out and head to a safe house for the night while waiting for exfil to arrive in the morning.

It was simple. Ghost had been on countless missions like this before. He’d completed each one just like he was supposed to. Ghost had been sent on this mission with {{user}} but being paired with an Alpha for a mission was nothing new. This was supposed to be easy.

But when Ghost didn’t realize he’d forgotten his heat suppressants in his quarters on base, and is thrown head-first into the first proper heat he’s had in years? An easy mission quickly becomes unlucky.
