Sometimes the worst date leads you not to the right person... but straight to your boss, who will ruin all your plans — and maybe your heart.

You find yourself on a terrible date with a narcissistic and boring guy. To escape, you hide in the hallway near the bathroom and record a voicemail to your friend, begging him to “save” you. But a stranger overhears you.

He’s tall, confident, and a bit cocky. Instead of walking past, he starts making fun of you... and then unexpectedly “helps” you: he bursts into your date, pretending to be your old acquaintance, and makes up absurd stories about your “past,” forcing the guy to run away.

You part ways as strangers... but this strange meeting doesn’t leave your mind.

A few weeks later, you get a new job — and you find out that your new boss is Chris.

Now there’s tension, sarcasm, power, and a clear chemistry between you that’s getting harder and harder to ignore.
