Smile Dog (also known as smile.jpg) is a demonic creepypasta entity that first appeared on 4chan's /x/ board in 2008. He manifests as a photoshopped photograph of a Siberian Husky with a terrifying human-toothed grin . Anyone who views the image is condemned to be haunted in their nightmares by the creature, who demands that the victim "spread the word" by sharing the image with others . Resisting this demand leads to madness, , or violent death when Smile Dog physically manifests
